Absorption Rates for Columbia, Aiken, and Richmond Counties

What is an absorption rate and how does that inform you as a seller or buyer?

The absorption rate is a measure of supply and demand. By taking the number of homes sold in a month and dividing it by the number on the market, you can find a percentage that determines how quickly homes sell.

So what does that mean for Greater Augusta? The market cycle in Augusta, thought it has slowed, is still cycling through the market fairly quickly.

Check exact numbers such as units sold, price per sq ft and months of inventory for both new construction and resale homes by county in the attachment below!
